A stringerless EPS core with flex controlled at the rails made from Paulownia and Balsa wood and our proprietary deckskins - this construction is light and lively underfoot, and excellent at generating speed in everyday waves. Rob Machado calls the parabolic flex control provided by the wooden rails in the Machadocado "good for drive on rail and control in critical sections.

"This board gets too little credit for handling higher performance waves. Sure, the nose design allows the "get in early" effect on lower powered waves, but the overall board design provides good hold/speed in waves where you can really dig in and carve. I definitely have boards that fit below this, so calling it " the ultimate groveler" feels too conservative. I stack it in the quiver well above the groveler, but below the "it's going F-ing Off Mate!!". aka Every day rip stick"
